Welcome to Alliance Jiu-Jitsu of Greenville. We are proud to be a member of the powerful Alliance team, which has won many major tournaments and produced many great champions. I personally am honored and privileged to have the opportunity to train with the head coach and founder of the Alliance, Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti. I have made the journey from Greenville to Atlanta on a weekly basis to train with Jacare since 2000. What began as a quest for knowledge and technique in what I consider to be the single most effective martial art on the planet became more. Jiu-Jitsu is not only a way to train the body and mind but the spirit as well. The relationships and camaraderie that come from training have become just as important. One of those relationships is with Professor Luis Togno of Alliance in Charlotte whom I met through Jacare and who we are fortunate to have teaching some of the classes here in Greenville.
So come join us, whether you wish to study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for self-defense, sport competition, mixed martial arts or a combination you will be welcome here. As you move toward your goals, hopefully you will develop the camaraderie with your training partners as you become part of the Alliance family and team.
